Community Chat
Loosely patterned after Baltimore’s popular Stoop Storytelling series, the Community
Chat will bring together a diverse panel of individuals to tell their personal stories, talking
about why they believe what they do about particular issues. These shared histories will
then serve as the jumping-off point for a moderated open discussion amongst panelists
and attendees alike, which will include church groups, college students, and LGBT
organizations. Popcorn and cotton candy will be provided to help create a light
atmosphere during this town hall style chat.
